L.King & Co (Chester) Ltd., the parent company, was formed in 1958, as a finance business. We began trading in this new market in 1996, under the name of Cheque King with our first shop in Exeter.

Since then we have opened a branch in Torquay in1998, and opened our latest branch in Taunton in 2002.

We will continue to provide an expanding service in the West Country, along with our linked businesses in Wiltshire and South West Scotland.

We pride ourselves in being highly computerised and keep up with the latest forms of technology making for more efficiency. Customers can ask for a statement of their account and we can produce the information back to their first transaction.

Our experience in the collected credit business with the parent company gives us a great understanding of the customers' needs.
